The strange priorities of Massachusetts legislators – from One News Now:
A pro-family group claims that members of the Massachusetts legislature are so beholden to homosexual lobbyists that they are willing to increase funding for the homosexual movement at the expense of most other government programs.
Things are so bad in Massachusetts that the 2011 budget approved by the legislature makes across-the-board cuts at almost every level of state government. In his research of the budget, Brain Camenker, director of MassResistance!, found only one area getting major increased funding.
“That’s the homosexual programs for the public schools — and specifically this horrible, horrible Mass. commission on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth, which is made up of radical homosexual activists,” he reports…
I guess it pays to be juiced in to government, huh? Of course, all through government you can find this or that group getting special favors, but it does astound that anyone would find money to waste on such a pointless exercise as gay outreach in the public schools. Something of no value, at all, gets an increase? It just doesn’t make any sense.
