Four More Years of This Economy?

So, what is in the news today?

The unemployment rate for white men and women was unchanged at 7.4 percent, while 184,000 more black American’s went without a job in June, for an unemployment rate of 14.4 percent.

Plunging new orders suggest global recession has arrived.

More workers joined the federal government’s disability program in June than got new jobs, according to two new government reports, a clear indicator of how bleak the nation’s jobs picture is after three full years of economic recovery.

Is this what you want?  Seriously?  Liberals, tell us:  will four more years of Obama make this all better?  How?  What will Obama start to do on January 20th, 2013 which will turn this all around?

Will he spend even more money?

Provide even more subsidies for favored “green” companies?

What will he do to make it all better?

If you haven’t got a rock-solid answer and a means of demonstrating how that rock-solid answer will turn this around, then a vote for Obama is a mere vote of hatred…a vote you will give him not because you really think him wise or strong but simply because you hate Republicans so much that you’d rather suffer Obama than have a Republican in office.

UPDATE:  On the other hand, every State which elected a Republican governor in 2010 has seen its unemployment rate drop.   So, California, New York and Illinois, are you regretting your choice?

    Mitch,

What was that rant all about? Why are you so fired up?

In 1976 Jimmy Carter won the presidency, and Carter is very much like Obama. Both are bleeding heart, clueless liberals. And It’s not so much that Romney will win, as much as Obama will lose. Obama is giving away this election by trying to give away the country for votes. His transparent and purely political “evolution” on gay marriage was a joke as his tax, not tax, tax, oh wait a minute not a tax, health care debacle is equally as bad. I think Obama will get wiped out

Obama is a centrist democrat, but to you anyone to the right of Atilla the Hun is liberal. And just to whom is he “giving away the country”? You mean to corporations, who are now “people”. And it was John Roberts who called it a tax. Think what you want, we’ll ust have to wait and see.

      • Retired Spook July 8, 2012 / 11:45 am

And it was John Roberts who called it a tax.

Only after Solicitor General Verrilli made the taxing power argument before the Supreme Court.

CHIEF JUSTICE ROBERTS: And you’re worried — that’s the area that Congress has chosen to regulate. There’s this health care market. Everybody’s in it. So we can regulate it, and we’re going to look at a particular serious problem, which is how people pay for it. But next year, they can decide everybody’s in this market, we’re going to look at a different problem now, and this is how we’re going to regulate it. And we can compel people to do things — purchase insurance, in this case. Something else in the next case, because you’ve — we’ve accepted the argument that this is a market in which everybody participates.

GENERAL VERRILLI: Mr. Chief Justice, let me answer that, and then if I may, I’d like to move to the tax power argument.

Go read the back and forth between the justices and Verrilli on the issue of whether it’s a tax. It’s really quite humorous.

“And it was John Roberts who called it a tax. ”

Too bad the legislation was never written that way nor had obAMATEUR or any other proggy Democrat call it a tax before the Supreme Court hearings. You will not find TAX in the legislation as to the individual mandate.

Proggies are still calling it a PENALTY because they do not want the stigma of raising taxes for this program – it all comes down to the fact that this was another TAX AND SPEND scheme.

OBAMATEUR a centrist?? Wow, mitchie and you tell us that we are not living in reality!

I give you credit for this – you are the most consistent drone as far as inaccuracy goes.

        Pathetic.

        the donk/cpusa lies continue……..

.Did Ubama attend classes at Columbia?

Henry Franklin Graff, professor emeritus of history at Columbia for 46 years, has cast doubt on claims Obama attended classes at the New York City university.

        Henry Franklin Graff

“I have no recollection of Barack Obama at Columbia, and I am sure he never attended any of my classes,” Graff told WND in a telephone interview.

“For 46 years, I taught political history, diplomatic history and one of the pioneering courses on presidential history, and every future politician of note who went through Columbia in those years took one or more of my classes – every one, that is, except Barack Obama.”

Graff further told WND no professor he knew could remember having Obama as a student at Columbia.

“Nobody I knew at Columbia ever remembers Obama being there,” Graff insisted.

Is it just me? Or does it seem a bit hypocritical for liberals to call for full disclosure in regards to Romney’s money, or campaign finance, when we heard this from the Queen Liberal herself just a few years ago:

“We have to pass it to find out what’s in it” – Nancy Pelosi

Holes, Mitch — remember the First Rule of Holes. Weather is not climate. And Huffington Post? Now there’s a top science source. ROTFLMAO!!

      • Amazona July 9, 2012 / 6:30 pm

Actually, Spook, if I understood Leftist explanations about weather and climate, weather is when it is cold and climate is when it is hot.

Mark asks if California regrets it’s vote for Brown?

    NOPE

The left side of the chart is a Republican governor (and president). The last three years are Governor Moonbeam and the Kenyan Socialist, thank you very much.

    Thanks for asking.

    • bozo July 9, 2012 / 8:58 pm

Gotta love the criteria Breitbart considers: unemployment down since 2011. But wait, isn’t that opposite Mitt’s message? The odd one is that New York is doing better than New Jersey but somehow (D) NY is bad and (R) New Jersey is good?

  10. tiredoflibbs July 9, 2012 / 9:25 pm

Wow, there goes creepy assclown with the numbers from the BLS. Numbers, by the way, that have NOT COUNTED individuals who are no longer looking for work – they are still unemployed but are not counted.

We (and others) have debunked those numbers long ago. MILLIONS of people, nationwide, are not counted in those statistics, so naturally unemployment will drop on that alone.
